Every insurance claim is important for our clients, so our Account Managers and our dedicated Claims Management Department will properly submit each claim and follow-up with the insurance company.

GATHER INFORMATION, FILE A CLAIM

After an incident occurs and damage results, the first step is to gather all the necessary information (details such as when, where, who, and how). Then, contact DSG or insurance company directly to file the claim.

ADJUSTER ASSIGNED

Next, insurance company will assign a claim adjuster, who will discuss what information is needed to resolve your claim. Your claim adjuster will inspect and/or investigate to determine the loss.

CLAIMS PROCESSING & ADVOCACY

The claim then enters the processing period. Every claim is unique so the processing time can be short as days or as long as years. DSG follows up with the claim adjuster periodically to help ensure the claim can be resolved as quickly as possible. When needed and if possible, DSG will negotiate with the insurance company to advocate for a claim resolution that is more favorable to you.

CLAIM RESOLVED

Once the claim is resolved, if there is any payment that you are eligible to receive, the payment will be sent to you directly from the insurance company. Payment amount is subject to your policy terms, policy limit, deductible, and the loss incurred.
